One thig left unresolved that I'm curious about..

At the end of episode 2 (I think it's episode 2) there's video footage of the crazy lady you or the St. John's brother shot at the camp in the woods. She blabbers something about saving clementine, but this never leads to anything.

What was that all about?

It was meant to foreshadow that without the Saint Johns to feed the bandits, they would seek supplies elsewhere and become a threat to the group, which they did in following episode.

It's because Jolene had a daughter(probably same age as Clementine) and the bandits took her daughter to the woods, raped her and killed her. After that, she turned insane. She was worried that the same thing would happen to Clem :/

Spot on. This makes the most sense, and it is pretty much the reason a lot of bad stuff goes down in episode 3.
