Default Happy Ending?

Only happy ending: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btheeIEDIrE

I'm still trying to recover from my less than happy ending. Clem is all alone out there and I failed to get her to safety.

TWD is a game that actually made me feel bad about decisions. A god damn game that toyed with my irl feelings. Made me want to grab a shotgun and assist Clem no matter the cost. irl. I salute you!

You did save Clem though. When you found her she was just a little girl. Lee helped her learn how to survive. He taught her to shoot a gun. He's the reason she killed her first walker and can survive in this world now. Those tips about the world now, the things you said to her has helped shape her and taught her valuable information she needs to survive.

She still needs other people to help her, which she's hopefully finding at the end of Season 1, but she isn't a helpless little girl now. Lee did that. You did that. That's the importance of Lee's role in Clementine's life. That's some happy you can take from it. Lee might be gone, but Clementine is alive and will carry forward what she's learned from Lee.

Yeah. She killed a walker in Episode 4. She wouldn't have been able to do that if Lee hadn't trained her how to fire a gun. If you take her to Crawford, she kills the walker attacking Molly. If you leave her at home, somehow a walker gets in the house and she kills it. Lee's the one who taught her how to protect herself. Considering the walker to human ratio is 5000 to 1, I'd say that's a pretty darn useful skill to know.
