I say yes. There have been some great games out this year, but the Walking Dead is a different kind of game. It evokes emotion, and really got me invested and connected to the characters. Not many other games can boast that feat.

I don't include downloadable games in my GOTYs because they tend to have more creative freedom and don't need to worry about media, But I can say it is one of the most enjoyable game experiences this year.

You're joking right? I enjoyed Black Ops II as much as the next guy, and I'm glad they decided to actually change things in that game, but damn, it does not deserve game of the year.

Maybe not game of the entire year, but this one will definately be one of the more memorable ones. TTG deserves at least SOME kind of award for this fantastic game.

This. I hope Dave and Melissa win those categories.

Also, yea, it's my GOTY. It's one of the only games that made me care for most of the Characters, and it's the only game that made me shed tears

On Spike's VGA 2012 Halo 4 isn't nominated for Game of the Year. It's Assassin's Creed 3, Dishonored, Journey, Mass Effect 3, and The Walking Dead. I think it has a pretty good chance of winning.
