Default Do you hope Telltale will return to comedy games after Fables & King's Quest?

Yes because while i thought the story was great in TWD and the game was great despite people complaining about when episodes are coming out and people spoiling it on purpose but it was still good. Personally i'm hoping to see Sam & Max, Strong Bad, and Monkey Island get a second season and maybe a Poker Night at the inventory sequel...We could put Lee from TWD in the sequel . I know it's unlikely for Monkey Island but a new Sam & Max season would be great as a break from all the serious games we have been getting from Telltale lately.

Didn't King's Quest sort of had humor?

I think most of the King's Quest humor came from the snarky narrator. It certainly wasn't up to something like Sam & Max.

That and the puns. It was definitely a more understated sense of humor, more like a dramedy than a comedy.

Yes! I would love to see S+M season 4. Telltale had made such great comedic games. I just wish they'd cut down on serious games after King's Quest and Fables.

I haven't played The Walking Dead yet so I dunno how they handle serious games but their Sam and Max games you can just tell that they had fun with making it. Usually when someone makes a game they enjoyed creating it shows and just makes it seem more special...at least to me. :3

First of all, King's Quest isn't serious. Second of all, King's Quest isn't serious.

What sort of serious game has you throw a banana cream pie at a yeti? Seriously!

they should probably lay off the serious games for a while; they should go back to the cheezy type games for a while

I've seen Paw play King's Quest; it IS a comedy series...A very sadistic one.

That's always the best kind of comedy.

King's Quest is humorous, just not in the same way as Sam and Max or Monkey Island. Most of the humor comes from the asshole narrator making fun of you when you die (which will happen. A lot.).

I agree, though, it would be nice to see Telltale return to comedy.

Yes, and I'm hoping that the rumors of a new Poker Night game are true and we'll get a comedy a lot sooner than that.
