Okay, let me tell you this.

If I compare Super Smash Bros. with Jump! Super Stars or Jump! Ultrastars, JSS and JUS don't just hold up pretty well, they really stand on their own. People actually liked playing JSS and JUS, and not because it was on the DS. The controls were solid, and even though it played pretty much like Smash, it did things their way, and all that without actually having to deviate too much from what works in Super Smash Bros., which was ring-outs (although ring-outs aren't a major part of this game).

I have yet to play PSASBR, but I will compare it with Super Smash Bros. like I compared JUS with SSB. If JUS managed to do it on its own, PSASBR should stand the test just as well, and if it doesn't, it's not because I compared it with SSB.

Another thing also is you guys are judgeing the beta not the full game. There is a reason when during back in the days of the PS1 & PS2 that it said on demo discs that the game can change. Superbot could change the game a bit. Again like i said i find the beta really fun when i'm playing as Sly & Parappa so i think it could be their speed and super attacks since i love seeing Parappa's & Sly's.

Except a beta is always close to the real deal. Only in alpha do things change a lot. Beta is more for bugfixes.

LBP2's beta for example was almost exactly like the retail version, only with some exploits removed, making some user-created beta levels (which weren't available on retail anyway) unplayable.

EDIT: Played the beta, not going to buy it. It's not a bad game, but it's actually just meh.

I finally got Playstation All-Stars today since it's finally out in the UK and i will say i think it's a lot of fun

I might get it eventually, but it's very low on my priority list.

On the plus side, thanks to the demo, my opinion of DmC Dante has risen substantially.

I have not tried Spike yet coolsome because mostly i was playing as Jak,Ratchet.Sly, and Sackboy but i might give him a try today and see what he's like.

Well i did Spike's training mode and i thought he was OK but i don't know what fans of Ape Escape would think of him because i never played any Ape Escape games other than demos of Ape Escape Move and Ape Quest so i don't have any idea how Spike is meant to play. Sorry coolsome but i can't really tell if his moves match the games or not.
