Not to say I wasn't sure the man was dead, but now we know for sure he's not getting retconned at all.


I have a creeping suspicion you will play as Molly, and start the game coming across Lee's body on a loot run. Now depending on what you did with Clem in season 1, either Lee will


A) be lying there dead chained to the radiator
B) chained to the radiator but still a walker
C) just be dead and not cuffed
D(worst case if you did nothing) ) loose in the room as a walker and will attack you for a QTE.


from there we'll follow Molly trying to escape savannah and figure out what happened to the rest of the survivors. Perhaps they'll have separate parts where you play as Molly in the city and Clem/Omid/Christa in the country side. it would be pretty awesome if eventually everyone meets up and ends up somehow meeting up with molly once she starts working for the Governor

Won't be Molly because her skills would be too ninja lol, this game isn't about jumping around rooftops and being a total zombie assassin, it's more about the storyline and the scare factor. And like someone else said, her story has been told, not much room for character development. That said, there is no reason why she couldn't make an appearance, not sure how they would work around that though, because she could be dead (although I doubt it)

Christa and Omid... They are more fitted as characters that are controlled by TTG, I just think that it would be.... I don't know, I wouldn't like it... There is a lot of character development available here, however I just think that we would have to start from the beginning of the infestation to find out how they met etc, and I would feel like all my character went through was wasted and I had wasted my time progressing through the game.

Clem is the most likely protagonist for season 2 because she is young so lots of room for you to shape her life, and TTG left it on a cliffhanger at the end of episode 5 and she is a much liked character, and I just feel like she is the right way to go... I know lots of you will disagree but this is much about opinions and a lot of you have opinionated your reply, so no hate about how I'm a retard or some rubbish like that...

Well, the dev kinda had to say Lee was dead. He was the main character. If someone asks and the company avoids the question while answering others, it makes them look suspicious, as if Lee isn't dead or his death is ambiguous.

Actually clem is the least likely the most they can do is make her 11 and no one would want to play as a child

Playing as a 9 year old girl is not a good idea. She is too young and can only defend herself with a gun. We wouldn't be able to make decisions in the new group because no one listens to a 9 year old.

I think the protagonist should be someone new. It shouldn't be a character that was an NPC in the previous season.

I really don't, she is an established character, as is everyone else you mentioned. I am 99% sure we play as someone new.

I'd think you play as someone we haven't seen yet, and you end up meeting Clem and she remembers stuff Lee did and told her, and that somehow affects her behavior and some of her dialogue.

Yeah but then why did they do that cutscene with two people really far out in the distance? Seems a bit stupid to me if they are just going to use some other character.... Hmmm, I'm at a dead end on all this really, I guess we will just have to wait and see. But it could be 2 years until the next season comes out
