Thumbs down The Walking Dead crashing, not working? Refund?

I bought the walking dead game. First it used to work, after I bought the bundle it stopped working, on all my devices. It keeps crashing, I can't get the game to start. I tried deleting the game, then restarting the device, and reinstalling the game after, it didn't work, the problem keeps happening all the time.even After I reinstalled it I restarted the device, but that didn't work too. There has to be a solution so I can play the game or a refund!!!

I have the exact same problem on my iPad Mini! When I finished purchasing the bundle, I got an error message which reads "Unable to complete your purchase, a network error occurred." And then the game crashed and kept crashing, just like @A.K. mentioned.

TellTale, Please help!

I contacted Apple, they gave me a full refund for both the app, and the in-app purchase, thats a first class customer support you can count on. The game doesn't work, I hope people read this before buying. and who ever has a similar problem should contact apple so they can investigate further, or at least pull the game of the store until they seriously fix it and get a refund. Thank you Apple

@A.R. Thank you so much for the tip. It's really comforting to know that I can have a refund from Apple. I'll wait a couple of days for TellTale Games to correct this mistake because I really like this game, then I'll ask for a refund.

Thanks guys!

Default Same problem!

I have the exact same problem. The app was working just fine on my iPad mini then I purchased the bundle and tried to download. It crashed and it hasn't been able to start again.

If you received an error message when trying to purchase the multi-pack, this may be the cause of the issue described. Please verify with Apple Support that your purchase was successful. Uninstalling the game and reacquiring the game application from the App store should remedy the problem. Please do not copy backed up files to your device, or install the game through iTunes.

Your suggestions keep saying the same things that don't work. Tell us you don't know what to do and then we'll just get a refund instead of waiting around for an update or a real fix.

@MattP Thanks for the much needed reply. I checked my purchase history in my App Store account and found the bundle purchase was successful. I'll try deleting the app from both my iPad and my iTunes library, and re-download it. I'll let you now if it works.

Thanks again!

@MattP Unfortunately, the solution you mentioned didn't solve the problem. I uninstalled the game from my iPad Mini and download it directly from the App Store without using iTunes. When I launched the app I saw the title screen then a black screen then the app crashed, afterwords I was asked to enter my Apple ID password, which I did. The game kept crashing just like @A.R. and the other guys mentioned before.

I tried your solution again, but with turning off documents & data synchronization with iCloud and turning on Airplane Mode before launching the game. Again, without any use!

I also tried another solution: I installed the game on another iPad (3rd gen.) through iTunes. The game worked fine, till I tried to retrieve the bundle. I went through the in-app purchase process, and the app informed me that I have already purchased the bundle. When the app started downloading the bundle it stopped and the same error message I mentioned before appeared: "Unable to complete your purchase, a network error occurred." At this point the app froze, so I pressed the home button. And the game kept crashing since then every time I open it!

Thumbs down Call iTunes & They Will Help You Out

Call iTunes & you will get help for sure. They are already aware of the problems with this app, so it will not be news to them. You will be taken care of for sure, I guarantee you. May not be what you want in the end, but at least you won't be paying out for something that doesn't work on your devices. TWD is an excellent game, but if it doesn't work, and you pay out good money, then what can you do but request your money back? If Telltale fixes the game, and I see a posting stating that it is fixed, then I'll gladly buy it again, but until I see a post from the developers stating that TWD 2-5 can be downloaded without a hitch and that it will play without problems on iOS, then I'm not buying. Cheers
