I guess that's fair enough. Most of that really doesn't bother me in the slightest, but then I've played the whole series and I'm coming from the perspective of already knowing all the answers the series has given up so far.

This statement confuses me a bit, it seems you're saying Days is going to be a playable, HD-remade game? Sites are saying that, while Re:CoM and KH are playable and updated, Days itself isn't going to be playable- they are simply remaking the cutscenes using better HD graphics. I don't think the speech-bubble conversations are going to work, unless they turned Days into a sort of visual novel with the cutscenes embedded where the fit between conversations.

I actually hadn't noticed that part of the news before. If they don't either actually do a remake of the game or at least find some way to flesh out the cutscenes, I'd really prefer that they not include it at all.

It'd be another reason for me to buy a Vita. Along with Assassins Creed: Liberations and... nothing else that I personally would want.

Well it could happen. MGS HD got ported and i think Sony knows that KH is a popular series and if the HD collection came to Vita i think loads of people would get a vita for a portable KH 1. Also Square did say they were impressed with the Vita.

Yeah, but Nomura said if they were going to make a game for the Vita, they might as well make it for the PS3.

I suppose that doesn't preclude them doing a cross-buy thing, though.

I love the way the glass cubes shattered at the start as if to signify a return to consoles. A lot of folk hate those cubes making the picture smaller =P

Yeesh, I dunno...I admit to liking some parts of KH2 Atlantica (would like more optional 'music minigame' things), I like Agrabah because Aladdin was my favourite movie...Pride Lands were big, you could fly in Neverland, Traverse Town feels like 'the' Kingdom Hearts world, Destiny Islands was fun, Beast's Castle has nice music..


If i had to pick...The World that Never Was? It felt very end-game in the games it appeared in (aside from Days) and a lot of story was focused there.


Oh, but Castle Oblivion has nice history and technically has the other worlds in it =P

What do you guys think was the hardest KH game? I would say ether KH 358/2 Days or KH 1.

I would say that the hardest game to get through the main story is Kingdom Hearts II, simply because I can't think of any other game where I had a main story boss that gave me as much trouble as Xaldin. Now, the hardest game to unlock the secret ending in would be Re:coded, with all its trophies with difficult requirements. And without question, the hardest optional bosses I've managed to beat were the Vanitas Remnant and the Unknown (later revealed to be Young Xehanort) in Birth by Sleep (both were about an equal pain to defeat), with Julius from Dream Drop Distance coming in a close third.

But hardest game overall? I really couldn't say.

Nothing hard about that skill-wise though, just demands a little patience.


Can we include optional bosses as well when we pick out the hardest KH game? If so, the first KH is definitely the hardest all because of the optional Sephiroth boss at Olympus Colosseum.
