Walking dead episode 3 bug/need help

In walking dead episode 3 I was exploring around the train and I ran into a walker in a car strapped in with a seat belt. I clicked his seat belt and Lee acted like he was going to smash the walker's head with the car door but there is no option to do anything and it saved so I cant go back. Please help

you have to smash the car door in to the walkers head put the curser on the door handle if that don't work than just rewind the chapter

After I use the pencil to scribble over the directions and activate the sixth and fifth panels on the wall, I am unable to start the train after looking in the engine compartment. The ninth panel has no action highlighted even after scrolling repeated over the switch that is supposed to highlight. Also, if I look at the instructions again, I am suddenly stuck in a loop where the game tells me to press b to back out and every time I press b the instructions for starting the train flash on the screen as if Lee is putting them away. I've spoken to all the characters, except for the new one since I can't start the train to dislodge the pin and start that conversation with the new character, and I believe that I have looked everywhere. I would appreciate it if anyone could help me.

I have the exact same problem, and I really don't know how to get past this. Here are some of the things I've tried:

- Restarting the system.
- Rewinding the chapter and doing everything in a different order. (Four times now, including with and without killing the walking the car in the front.)
- Doing everything precisely in the order of the walkthrough on IGN.
- Rewinding two chapters back.

I'm considering rewinding to the beginning of the episode and do everything again, but I don't really feel like doing everything again just to end up with the same problem. I'm on Xbox 360, by the way.

I read in another thread that the only way to fix this at the moment is to download the fourth and fifth episodes. Which I find ridiculous.

I guess I'll consider trying that, but it doesn't make much sense to me that having all episodes can make a difference. Unless the fifth episodes has a patch to the third or something like that. Where's the other thread?

Just wondering: after you activate the 5th and 6th panels, are you going directly outside to the door where the 9th panel is? I activated 5 & 6, then went over to where Kenny is seated, and pushed the knob. It makes a noise, and Kenny tells you something about. " figure out a way to get this moving", and then I went out and did the 9th panel. I don't know if this would make any difference, but maybe you could try it if you haven't already. Good luck!

This is my exact same problem and if I don't get stuck in this bug than I go to try and start the train but there's no action button to start the train. I've replayed the entire episode twice to try and fix it, and I've reloaded the point I'm at too many times to count. HELP!!!

Agreed! Spent the better half of the day trying to figure this out! Should be on episode 5 by now!

I have a different problem.

When I am in the train compartment, and I have traced the paper, as soon as Lee looks at the paper, it jams.

If I try to escape from that, Lee just stays still and my right stick thing disappears.

What the hell?

I am experiencing this same bug. I also can't hit the switch on the 9th panel. On the side of the train. I've restarted my console, played the chapter over and it doesn't work. Anyone know how to fix this?? I'm enjoying the game but I can't progress further. I have never experienced a bug like this.

I am experiencing the identical problem, I just started a thread about it. I've also spent many hours replaying segments over and over and over just to get to the switch and have no option to turn it.

You guys should probably use the Xbox Support forum (or whatever your platform is). :P

So you are most likely having this issue if you only have episodes 1-3 and the solution is to buy the next episode, which I have not done as I don't want to play anymore due to everything I've seen. People who have purchased the disc are even having problems.
