[TWD] Game crashes when made full screen
I'm running win 7 and have the latest drivers-ect.
The game has run fine in the past but the update for epi 4 screwed something up. Right after the update, I tried to start and it gave me some nonsense about it already running and crashed. I tried again and the game started in windowed mode. I then tried to make it full screen and....crash. I've restarted the game and reinstalled it but it's still happening |

That doesn't sound good. It seems like your prefs.prop was corrupted, which is also responsible for your save games being lost.
You can try navigating to %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead and right clicking the prefs.prop, selecting settings, and restoring a previous version. If that doesn't work, and you can give up your savegames, you can try deleting/moving the entire folder.

No previous versions are available.
Thank you though. I'd rather not start over so I'll wait a bit more before I do that |

Good luck. I have the same issue and have found the support to be severely lacking. I feel like I just threw my money away.

I am experiencing exactly the same issue , with a Mac. When on full screen, the game crashes (only an enormous graphic glitch appears). Is there any way to restore the default graphic settings without , uh...opening the game?

I'm hoping my error is caused by what everyone else seems to be having and we get a patch soon!
I'll be very upset if this game is permanently broken |

Found a fix
Found a fix for the full screen crash (for Win XP) that I haven't seen posted. For me the game starts in windowed mode but as soon as selecting full screen the game crashes. My desktop color quality was set to 16-bit. After changing to 32-bit the game had no problem going to full screen without crashing.
