Reading the basic tutorials to Construct 2.
(And my book on game design as I mentioned earlier)
Its quite a bit different to Game Maker, (well as I remember it back in version 8 and below! XD) but its oddly fascinating how it works.
I really need to make a habit of this. You know, spend and hour or two each night, learning and tinkering like I used to do when I was younger.
Maybe then I can dig up those ideas, and practically see how I can make them.
(Rather than theoretically imagining them as I normally do)
I think the key is music. I'm listening to some chiptunes at the moment on medium volume and its really chilling me out. Letting me focus.
If I can get into focus zone, then maybe I can just do, instead of talking about doing, dreaming of doing.
Heh, it all sounds stupidly obvious, buuut then again, sometimes its those basics we tend to miss in life. That we take for granted.
