Are you kidding me? You would buy a clementine hat? please tell me youre joking. I know you love the game and what not but its a generic hat meaning its nothing significant. Invest the money in a shirt or something.

Its not really that generic if you know the meaning behind the shirt. It also would make an interesting conversation piece if someone else recognizes the hat as well.

I usually don't buy much video game merch, but I would buy that hat the first chance I get.

I think it stands for Derek (Sakai, TWD Game's art director) who apparently designed Clementine's outfits based on his own daughter's wardrobe.

Some of us love merchandise. Heck, I'm waiting for a Lee + Clementine figure to dress my bookshelf with. It would defiantly go nice with my horror trades, or even zombie DVD's.

What makes a shirt any less "generic" than a hat? If anything it's more generic with that thinking.

Within the context of the game, the 'D' cap could possibly have belonged to Clementine's mother. According to the answering machine message heard in episode 1, the mother's name is Diana.

I think it'd be neat, and definitely a good way to raise money. I wouldn't be interested myself, seeing as how hats really aren't my cup of tea, but like I said, it's still a good idea.

TT does not actually sell Clementine hats. They were only distributed to fellow developers. I have my doubts that they're actually going to sell these, but you can get them custom made off of certain sites.

What's funny is that Clem's hat is the same exact D that is used by the Okotoks Dawgs baseball team (they play in a Canadian baseball league for Canadian and American college baseball players to play over summer out of school) They have used the D on their hats and jerseys since their first season in 2003.
