Walking dead pc retail version problems?

Hi,

i am in 2 Weeks in the USA. Is it possible to get the Retail Version of TWD for Computer in any Shop/Store? I coudnt find any Shop which sales it in the Internet.

But i read some reviews, that there some Disc Problems. There is a installing problem.

Anyone any news?

Which version are you talking about?
There are disc versions available in the US for Xbox360, PS3 and Windows (maybe it's dual system, not sure).
There seem to be A LOT of problems with the Xbox version, less with the PS3 version and I haven't heard a lot about the PC version. Also don't forget the Xbox version will not work on Xbox consoles outside the US.

If you're talking about the PC version, I can recommend buying it online via the Telltale site though. It's the easiest version for Telltale to support you on.
I would like to have a disc version of Walking Dead as well (I have Sam & Max, Monkey Island and Back To The Future as well), but I think I'll wait for a release via the Telltale site.

i cant find the windows dics version in the telltale store? Do you find it? I read the disc version has big problems. is that right?

Telltale didn't release a disc version of the Walking Dead via their site (yet).
The only mention I can find about the PC version on disc was on this thread:

I've tried looking for it on amazon and more online stores, but I could only find online activation codes, no discs.

I bought mine on best buy. Best buy sells it for $30. Comes with a poster and currently only bestbuy sells the pc disc version

Dont know, i have a digital copy that i played while it was still being released monthly. The only reason i have a disc copy is for collection, so i havent opened it... In case telltale actually releases the disc for pc on thier website, ill sell it. But to answer your question, i dont know. I read an interview on bestbuy about it that said that it didnt work very well in the installation process because there mightve been a disc burning problem. The person eho wrote the interview said they bought the disc and it wasnt able to be read. So he took it back and got another, and it still couldnt be read, so he got a refund after the store manager agreed that it had problems being read. So i guess you'll have to see how your luck plays out, sorry man.

i just will ask the man in the shop if anyone else had complained about the discs. maybe it was just bad luck of the guy who left the comment in the bestbuyonlineshop.
