Regardless, I think both Kenny and Lilly are really flawed. I supported Ken in the drugstore and I thought he was a better leader, but because I didn't help him killing a dude before we were sure he was dead, he decides to leave me behind in Macon. Kenny changing sides after the meat locker is likely because he sees you trying to save Larry as an indirect way of you not caring about his family, or deliberately trying to put them in danger by potentially allowing a walker to attack the people who can save them. Since he puts his family above
everything else, that's a pretty big point for him.
Both Lilly's actions at Ben and Kenny's responses about the boat are because they're both broken, in a way. With Lilly losing her father and Kenny losing his entire family, they're emotionally unstable and prone to snapping at any time, for any reason.
