I have had to restart episode 1 four times now because real life interupts and I have to shut it off, and the game does not save. Not only that, but if I hit escape to pause the game, the game actually resets. I can't even turn it off with ctrl+alt+del because every option in the escape menu just restarts the game. Can I please get this fixed because it is currently unplayable. Otherwise, give me a steam key cause I hear it works fine over there, or give me a refund. Mainly, I just want this to work.

You may want to post this in the Game Support forum. If you look, maybe someone has already posted something similar.

How far do you get? The game doesn't "save", it records progress by chapters. If you don't make it to the next chapter, it will never record your progress. Basically, if you don't kill your second zombie, the game will always go back to the beginning.

the game should automatically save at certain points in the game. I don't know what is wrong with your copy of the game, try re-installing it?
