I know this thread has been posted probably millions of times but has anyone (Kirkman or Telltale or the author of the book) talked about and explained what the heck is going on as to why Lilly has a different backstory in the book(a crappy one no less) to the one in the game? Has it been explained? The book itself is very mediocre to be honest but this whole confusion with the Lilly thing makes it even worse!

perhaps is a different lilly with the same name....
that or the writers never talked to each other and this happened...

except telltale said that this game is set in the world of the comics.

Yea T.V show characters have different backgrounds its possible but i doubt it, since this is a continuation of the "governor" series so it's in the comics. The other idea was wish full thinking, and the wiki says it fills the gap between the video game and comic series.

They don't go to deep into it. Only difference is her dads name is everet and he dies in a different way then larry. And lily meets a guy named James Lee hamilton which becomes her boyfriend and the guy is black too. The books is said to be cannon too fills the bridge but too many plot holes.

Can anybody tell me the end of the book? As like 48 issue of the comics? What about Lilly's fate? Do you know anything?

They are not the same Lilys. That was changed recently, I heard.

maybe we're not supposed to know about Lilly's "backstory" and that's just in the comics/book. She'll most likely be back in season 2 though especially if you decided to let her come with you and then stealing the rv

Kirkman says that the Game Lilly is not the Comic Lilly in the Letter Hacks of Issue 106.
