And yes, you should read them. They're pretty awesome.

Back on topic; If a game was to be made, here are several key questions that would need to be addressed.

1. Where in the Dresden Files timeline would you like to see a story set?
2. Would we be playing as Dresden, or some extended universe character?
3. Would the Telltale Games episodic content formula work for the game?
4. Would the game be better in another game genre (ie RPG, action adventure etc)?
5. Under the assumption that Telltale made the game, would you buy this bad-boy?
Answers to each Question....

1. Obviously you'd want to start at the beginning, as in the first book. But if Jim Butcher gave permission then they could tell the story of Harry starting when he was younger and just learning his magic abilities.

2. Honestly you would want to play as Harry. He is the center of the story so you'd want to be playing him.

3. In my previous post I mentioned doing each book as a episode or you could do multiple episodes per book, which would mean you could spread the book series out over many episodes allowing for content to flourish This would be very attractive for fans of the series.

4. In truth, Fans of the series would be more likely to enjoy exploring the world of the Dresden files. So using Tell Tale's style of story telling (Sam and Max, Walking Dead, etc) would be just what fans would be looking for. The more detail they go into, the more fans will want to play. This would also introduce gamers to The Dresden Files book series which would benefit both Tell Tale and Author Jim Butcher. Thought there is a paper RPG available for The Dresden Files right now, so that is also a possibility.

5. I would definitively buy and play the game. I already enjoy Sam & Max as well as Walking Dead. I'm an even bigger fan of The Dresden Files and if I could explore the world of Harry Dresden on a visual level like those games, It would be like getting to not only read the books again but live them!

I was asking you not to bump what is effectively a dead topic (while also correcting you on the point that the "conversation was still going"). That's all.

Okay, I've got three possibilities here:

Spaceballs: A game based on a Sci-Fi movie. Sure the cartoon series bombed, but Telltale could do way better here.

Men In Tights: Okay, this one's a bit tricky, mostly since the story of Robin Hood is pretty much a complete story, and everything already has been done in that movie.

Blazing Saddles: There hasn't been a lot of adventure games set in the Wild West, so this one could definitely work. Also I haven't seen it yet.

History of the World: Part 2: Okay, I know that part of the joke here was that there was only one History of the World, but wouldn't it be hilarious if there actually was a part 2? No? Never mind then.

Part 2? No.

Part 3? YES.

I would support every last one of these although Spaceballs, my favorite movie ever, would get my first vote! And I thought I was the only one who enjoyed History of the World Part 1.

There was never going to be a Part 2.

The title of the film's a parody of Sir Walter Raleigh's 'The Historie of the World, Volume I' (he was beheaded before he could complete any more).

Default ABC's LOST!!! Telltale should continue the series!!

How many of you guys agree or think Telltale should make a game continuing one of ABC's best series, LOST?! It should continue with Hurley, Ben Linus & Walt in the island and all those who survived and maybe even some new faces!! What will your storyline or idea be if Telltale games ever decide to make ABC's Lost the game? They pulled it off with Back to The Future... I'm pretty sure they could pull it off with LOST! What do you think?? KATE, WE GOTTA GO BACK!!!

Btw... The smoke monster can come back... Remember the island has the power to time travel ;-) so anything can happen!!!

i would have to rewatch the first 3 seasons and actually watch the others to even know what was going on if they were to remain faithful to the source material

I dunno man. I don't really know how you do more with Lost. The mysteries of the island are either solved, unsolved-but-unimportant, or kinda explained how they work at least if not flat out explained why. It's hard to imagine that there's MORE on the island that will be mysterious and cool, especially stuff that Ben won't already know about.

Edit: Also THEY TOOK MY BOY! WAAAAALT!

ohhhh, fringe is so full of possibilities, what if we were to play as an observer trying to control a butterfly effect type story with time travel, that would be a cool adventure game

I like the idea of Fringe! Lost never was a full fan and the last game based on it was so-so at best. A few other cool TV shows I think would make great TellTale Games are

Castle
The Incredible Hulk
Ren and Stimpy
Werewolf
Tales From The Crypt
Hercules: The Legendary Journeys
Mystery Science Theater 3000
Dexter
True Blood
Beavis and Butt-Head
Commander USA's Groovie Movies
