When I saw the 1 star rating, I figured people were just butthurt that someone had a different opinion than them.
I can see that 1 star is justified. This is a game, and it is damn fun. Writers have fun creating stories ( I know this personally), and people love reading (lol reading) .When good story/writing is placed within a point & click game, it exemplifies the fun you have.

It has evolved quite a lot walking dead is very different to old ones and has more what you may call 'gameplay' then the classics

And to be fair the quality of RPGs. shooters and turn based games haven't changed much over the years

Can you say today's worms is anything different then the original or that the modern Call of Duty is different than the original?

Sorry, but your's is OPINION. I prefer story to gameplay. People have different opinions.
For me, Story>Gameplay>Combat.
Love it's story.
Don't mind about gameplay.
QQQQQQQE is more than enough for a point and click.
You're pretty much saying in this whole thing your opinion and shoving it down our throats.
Stories aren't fun. You don't have "fun" when you watch a movie. You sit down and listen to a story. It's entertainment yes but that's because it's an interesting story. Not because it's fun.

And this isn't my opinion. It's a professional judgement of the game. You prefer story. That's great. But it doesn't change the fact that games need both gameplay and story.

I'm talking about the entire genre. Not a specific series. And yes RPGs and shooters have evolved. You had arcade action (Doom) then you had arcade action (Half Life) then you had military shooters (CoD) and then you had Halo (Not sure what to label it).

Plus the RPG games have evolved significantly. You're telling me Final Fantasy is comparable to Persona? Or the Elder Scrolls is comparable to Mass Effect?

And how exactly as TWD changed the point and click genre besides quick time events?

*sigh* the GAMEPLAY is the DIALOGUE CHOICE, which you don't get while watching a MOVIE.

and it's a gameplay that doesn't give me heart palpitations, so I prefer it.

Yes. You PREFER it. That doesn't make it a better gameplay.

And what you prefer doesn't make it "objectively better," just because YOU are the one preferring it, either. THAT is the point.

I almost wonder if you're simply trolling trolling trolling at this point.

I actually do like the style of TWD because it's something different. Again, this isn't my opinion or what I prefer. This is the truth of the game which is separate from are own opinions. Don't get mad at me thinking I am not respecting your opinions. I am just speaking the truth. I'm not saying you are right or wrong UNLESS you're speaking your opinions as fact.

If you're hurt then just consider I am doing the same thing to myself. I don't like the Walking Dead, I like it. I liked DNF a lot but I have to admit it's only decent. I don't like Batman AC but I admit it's amazing.

And I'm not trolling. If I was trolling I would be saying the game sucks and being a big dick. I said the game was good and I wrote my review in a calm and mature tone. How is that trolling?

You say this isn't your opinion and that it's a fact, but what proves it's a fact. All I've seen you say is that TWD lacks gameplay and that is just a plain fact. I find that hard to believe. Is there any scientific studies that have stated, "TWD is lacking in the gameplay department."?

So you saying TWD lacks gameplay and is over-rated is just your opinion. There are a lot of people that would say otherwise. So on a subject like this you can't say something like that and say it's a fact.

The walking dead has changed and point and clicks by allowing the story to be 'tailored' depending on choice

And there is a big difference between variety and change and the best RPGs now haven't changed too much since the old ones
Point and clicks have evolved just as much as other Genres the only difference is variety
Not all change is for the good and the evolution of Mass efffect 1-3 or
Morrowind-Skyrim
Or shooters in general is the same and most genres 'change' by mixing with others
Shooters have different varieties but the Arcade action have became different gene all together
I do like a variety of Genres all I'm saying is that it is unfair to say that Point and Clicks haven't changed when most of the good games follow the same format and the games that are considerably different or the start of something new
Walking dead isn't my favourite game, point and click or otherwise but it could be the next step to the evolution of point and clicks

Pretty much agreed here, you can't simply declare your opinion as fact because you're "professional". One persons ideals do not encompass the entire gaming population. Saying that stories are not fun is another opinion. It is not a fact. There are people who have fun watching movies, not just entertained by them. You can not disprove that.
