The modern calendar as defined in ISO 8601 does have the year 0 (which incidentally is what people stuck in the distant past would call 1 BC.)
Well considering we're talking about 1986, it would have been the "modern" calendar then.

But in all seriousness, I didn't know about that. I thought we still used the Gregorian calendar. Interesting.

It's weird that most of my school years took place in the 1990's and none of my teachers ever mentioned that the BC and AD calendar system that was in all of the history textbooks was outdated.

As for Doc's 0000-9999 calendar system in the DeLorean, you're right, Doc does seem like the kind of person who would be an early adopter of a new system like that.

Modern calendar? What is this "modern" calendar? Are we not living in 2013?

well actually 2000 years ago, there was no recognition of the number 0 in the counting system at the time.

There's other odd quirks to the calender in which doc may not have accounted for. For instance 10 days were skipped in the calendar in 1582.

To get to the point, it's very unlikely that if Christ existed, he was born on december 25th and/or in the years 1BC, 0, or 1 AD. Also even if he was, the delorean could not travel across space so the only ways to 'witness' the birth of christ would be to travel back in time, build a boat and sail across the ocean, or transporting the delorean to israel and traveling back.

Well, it's not like there's much to say. We've been hoping for at least a mention of it, but all we have is Christopher Lloyd saying that he's supposed to be doing more.

yeah encouraging but it's been a year and a half since the last episode was released and literally no news other than that.

That's been Telltale's way since the February 2011 press announcement of five new games. That big announcement turned out to be a mistake since they planned to have them all out by the end of 2012, but the postponed release of Jurassic Park moved the completion date of Fables up to 2013.

They've now become very tight lipped about future projects, even already announced ones. Fables was announced in February 2011, and then nothing was said about it except for a tweet saying they're making it around the time of the NY Comic Con last year and then a mention that they're now focusing on Fables in the last episode of Playing Dead.

Actually, I meant it to be the exact opposite of that. Nothing against Christopher Lloyd, but most actors don't reveal these things unless and until they're actually contracted to make the appearance. And everything I've heard about his "slip-up" suggests that he was saying that he was certain that Telltale would make another game. Not that they are.

I want another season of Back to the Future. I really do. But with Fables and King's Quest and Walking Dead Season 2 in the pipeline, I don't expect it to happen any time soon.

well its possable that develepment of the game could start by the end of this year or early next year judging on how long it is going to take them to finish there other games.

It definitely is possible. They have 2 to 3 games in the pipeline now, and they typically release 2 or 3 games a year.

However, Telltale is increasing their staff in the spring, so it's possible they'll be able to do more than 2 or 3 games a year after the influx of new staff.

also with the first game, it was officially announced in June and the first episode was released 6 months later. With the influx of staff, not hard at all.

Question Back To The Future: The Game Part II?

I only know of one source that proves this may be real, the end of the BTTF game where it says To Be Continued after random Martys show up does anyone else have any proof as to if it is real????

So any news on a "Season 2" BTTF game, or is it on indefinite hold???

Would love to see more games, as I enjoyed the first "season". Could use a bit more developed puzzles, but I enjoyed the overall story.

On a side note I would like to see what happened to that fox photo booth, whether they replaced it or anything?

Well apart from the ''To be continued'' at the end of Outatime, no nothing yet.

Damn, that sucks. Maybe we'll have to wait another couple of years, like we did in between BttF 1 and 2.

Hey I have another question about the game on DVD. Can the special features/audio commentaries be watched on a DVD player, or does it have to be on the computer? Main reason I bought the DVD was for the special features, and I would hate if I had to sit in front of my PC to watch them.

You can watch it on a DVD player but, there's no real menu. You need to go into the disc files or something.
