I dunno if it's been mentioned at all but Mark Gatiss is adapting the Big Four (aka Poirot turns into a blockbuster movie action hero) for the next series, which makes me happy.

Also the blu-rays of the first few years are coming out (at least in R1) and I want them badly.

Yes, I think he might be a good choice for that novel. He strikes me as the kind of guy who would enjoy the somewhat ridiculous use of the characters.

Number 4 has to be played by different actors in his disguises to work as it did in the book.
