Probably new characters. It could also be Christa and Omid, but that is a bit too obvious. We won't really know until season 2, though.

Someone extracted the character models from the cutscene, and Telltale confirmed that they were placeholders. So we cannot find out that way, either.

Seriously though, my best guess would be two new characters. It wouldn't even be worth building up the mystery and suspense surrounding them if it just turned out to be Omid and Christa.

I only picked Christa and Omid because I hope its them, but the chances of being two new different characters are a bit higher in my opinion.

I don't think those are Omid and Christa. Logically, Clementine would be walking away from Savannah, why would Omid and Christa head back that way? Well, they might have gone looking for Clementine, but still.

I'm torn between Christa and Omid and new characters.

But I voted Christa and Omid because even though it would be obvious, one bit of dialogue tipped it for me. In the house Christa said she wanted to get out of the city and go into the countryside right? And that whole after credit scene took place in the countryside... seemed to mesh nicely to me.

Its bad people.Clem is gonna react to them based on how lee(you) taught her to survive.Your S1 data carried to S2.If lees teachings went one way-Clem will shoot them.Another way-Clem gets saved by someone else.Maybe far fetched......

I think it's Christa and Omid. I doubt that Christa, Omid or Clem would have gone in a direction that would lead them deeper into the city or towards more walkers even if that's what Lee told them to do. They were all in the same general side of the city and would have gone in the same general direction to get further away from the city. The odds are with them that they would cross paths once clear of the city.

I think out of all the Season 2 speculative theories I've read on here, this one makes the most sense.
