I keep hearing about the PS4 and it just reminds me of how little I cared about the PS3.

I bought a PS3 because:
1)I didn't have a Bluray player;
2) 360's have problems with hardware failure;
3) PSN is free.

The place where I was at before, though in Portland, was pretty dumpy out of necessity and my roommates were really creepy and constantly fought loudly. I found a place in inner (real) Portland in the most desired neighborhood and near public transit that the boyfriend and I can afford. Really beautiful area and cute, yet not tiny, apartment. I'm really excited.

Would it be awkward if due to a sci-fi thingy you ended up with a offspring who is older then you and was created that way so you never got to raise them and they have adult knowledge programed into there brains.

I got all mine on disc form so thats a fat lot of good.

It IS still one of the best BR players on the market - probably due to additional processing power not really needed for "pure" BR players. For the same reason, I am at least considering a PS4 at the moment, as it will again play BRs. Also, it looks as if the price tag is hardly any different from an actually decent BR player.

Yeah... that indeed is bad. Then again, it's not even clear if Sony will let their PSN customers play their old games on the new console even though it IS technically possible. That is something that's still to be decided. Weird crap. Good thing I skipped the PS3...
