did telltale intend for christa to be lilly part 2?

Christa was nothing like Lilly, even in episode 3. From the moment you met Lilly, she was only concerned about her father. Everyone else around her could die and she wouldn't care. Christa, on the other hand, stopped what she and Omid were doing to offer help to your group. She was willing to give your group a chance, but was honest about the possibility of her just moving on.

The only thing they have in common is that they both hate Kenny. And even that changes if he saves her in Episode 5.

she felt very much like lilly + Carley to me at first, as in always thinking she was right and telling people off (lilly) but brave and concerned for the safety of others (Carley) but that was really just my first impression from the end of episode 3, she is her own character in the end and her relationship with Omid makes them both part of each others character

I believe Lilly + Carley = Dead Carley.

The only thing Christa had in common with Lilly is she can be bossy at times. But she doesn't elect herself leader, she does actually seem to care about other people and as she gets to know you she warms up to everyone. She was just a little defensive around the five strange people she had known for less than a day. Considering how much trouble had been in our own group in the last twenty four hours I don't blame her for being a little stand offish around new people.

No... I don't think so. I think Christa's more like Carley than Lilly. Her tongue's sharp at times, but other than that she's a great team member and is really brave and good.

Hey now, that injury came because they decided to tag along. Omid could have just stayed behind on the highway(where the walkers could not reach) and be perfectly safe. It's his own fault for being a scaredy-cat and not jumping properly.

Yeah, I'd probably hate him too. I'm not saying Christa has no reason to hate him, it's just that in my game Kenny "died" saving Christa and her unborn child. I feel it would be somewhat hard to hate him after that, even if they never did get along.
