maybe the season 1.5 was gary taking the piss ?

and so was lying to us to get us excited for that small morsel of twd extra's when he really knew all along about season 2 'first episode'...

thing is no doubt ttg will have another 2 month gap after the first episode and so the rage begins again

I was very disheartened when i first read "fall 2014", So glad that was a mistake, although i has made fall this year seem really close by comparison.

There were also these comments about the DLC

It's good news, if true, but let's not ignore tentative words. That only leads to disappointment if it doesn't happen. I'm as excited as the next person, but seriously... This thread title is very misleading. Don't get people's hopes up like that.

No. As things stand right now, the "little bit extra" is still on the schedule. However, no one knows yet what that is or means. Maybe a bonus episode. Maybe a video series. Heck, maybe he even meant a Clementine cameo in Fables...

Yeah, right. Fables, and then... 2014. It will be a hard year for people who happened to not identify with the Walking Dead franchise. But thankfully, the wait between games still is a LOT shorter at Telltale's than it is with almost any other game studio.

Yeah its best to assume delays or other unforeseen problems. For now I'm gonna guess for a Spring release, and if it really does come in the fall then boo ya!

I was almost sad that my Octoberish guesstimation was killed. BUT NOW ITS BACK ON.

As for the bonus content, there's no reason for them to not do it if it doesn't hinder anything. I'm excited to see what it is. Even if it's just some weird vignette with Chris Redfield shooting Lee. o.o

I'm game for whatever. Just happy to see that I won't be aged 2 years between experiences. xD

Different in what way? I hope he isn't referring to radical adjustments in the gameplay design, because it was borderline perfect in its simplicity.

Maybe we'll get to select our own PC this time around? Imagine if Christa and Omid were set upon by walkers during the first minute of season 2, and whoever lives or dies depends on which character we've chosen to control.

Perhaps we take control of Omid & Christa right after their separation with Lee at the sign, and the bonus content will be showing us their fate. We could even bump into walker Kenny on our way to the train/boat/Marsh house.

I'm almost certain there is going to be a big delay in season 2, just like there was with season 1, though the delay wasn't unbearably long.

So in between juggling a few exciting upcoming projects (wink wink), we're actually doing a HUGE office move this weekend, and things are kinda chaotic right now. We've just got so much to pack...
