I got bored scribbling like a lunatic, so I decided to free draw Paper Mario on a post-it note.

(Terrible at doing proportions though. Somehow I always seem a little unable to judge relative scale. At least when I start)

reference image here:
http://www.rpgamer.com/games/mario/p...pmario2002.jpg

EDIT: This one is better.

(I forgot to shade the arm and leg though. *derp*)

(That being said though. Its been ages since I attempted free handing, (or any kind of art at all!), and I think I've gotten a little better (Like how you don't play a game for ages and come back to it, and magically you're suddenly a bit better and you get past that bit you were stuck on))

Today I learned it is possible to miss someone you don't remember.
I feel the same way about my grandfather. He died of complications in surgery several months after a car accident. My mom was only 14 at the time. From his eight children, he had 22 grandchildren, and only three of them ever got to meet him. I've heard so many stories, and he sounds like an amazing man, and I wish I could've met him.

"Shit" may just be the most functional word in the English language. Consider, you can get shitfaced, shit-out-of-luck, or have shit for brains. With a little effort, you can get your shit together, find a place for your shit, or be asked to shit or get off the pot. You can smoke shit, buy shit, lose shit, find shit, forget shit, or tell others to eat shit. Some people know their shit, while others can’t tell the difference between shit and shineola. There are lucky shits, dumbshits, and crazy shits. There’s bullshit, horseshit, and chickenshit. You can throw shit, sling shit, catch shit, shoot the shit, or duck when the shit hits the fan. You can give a shit or serve shit on a shingle. You can find yourself in deep shit or be happier than a pig in shit. Some days are colder than shit, some days are hotter than shit, and some days are just plain shitty. Some music sounds like shit, things can look like shit, and there are times when you feel like shit. Just wanted you to know that I do give a shit, and hope you have a nice day, without a bunch of shit. But if you happen to catch a load of shit from some shithead...

Well, shit happens.

I had to kill a few minutes in a Walgreens today, so I was browsing all the things in the pharmacy area, when I noticed something interesting. Walgreens is having a sale on home paternity tests, normally $29.99, sale price $26.99.

I am wondering whom they are aiming this promotion at. Are there guys out there thinking,

"You know, I've always wondered if that kid is mine, but $29.99 was just too much to find out for sure. But $26.99? Now you're talking!"

Or...

"Hey, paternity tests are on sale! Time to stock up for all of the random children I'll be accused of fathering this year!"

This is why companies shouldn't keep me waiting.

That reminds me, I always wanted to get a DNA Ancestry test done where they determine what percentage of your ancestry is from Neanderthals.

I'm taking the unpopular path on this one, I just feel it. I kind of liked the new Tomb Raider. I haven't heard anyone call it an Uncharted clone yet, but I do find that funny as I thought the exact inverse when I first played Uncharted. No, she's not off raiding tombs. It's a reboot and it gives her more of an origin story that isn't just text and flashbacks. Where the previous games and Uncharted had the humour, this game is just brutal survival.

If this truly is a new first in a series, I don't have a problem with how it was handled and delivered(I can even stand the odd QTE they threw in...which they never explain how it works. Strangled a good half dozen times before I figured out to hold the damn button). I would expect a sequel to settle into the series more so than this. This game really starts to feel like an unfunny Die Hard half way through it(she really shouldn't have lived through the game).

Still, I enjoyed it. Oh well.

It would only feel like Die Hard for me if Hans Gruber showed up or she had to walk over broken glass.

I am starting to hate setting up networks, been working on it for 4 weeks and it still does not work...

On another note, tonight I am going to open mike and watch my brother do stand-up, it's going to be a real blast. Tomorrow I am goin to the cinema to watch Parker, I love Jason Statham movies.

Does anyone here actually use Desura?
Especially for games other than those on indie bundles.

There are indie bundles I don't get because half the games are on Desura and I cba to use more than Steam and GOG.
