Err, EMI only takes place like a couple months after CMI. Though in the Tales games, he looks like he's in his 30s. (Which I think he is...)

As for thread topic, my vote's with "animated". Not so much for the voices, but because I think of Monkey Island as something that *needs* to be animated to be done properly. IMO, the cartoony nature of the series is one of the things that truely distinguishes it away from Pirates of the Caribbean.

These selections are mostly based on how I can see them pulling off the roles, not necessarily voice or appearance.

I don't think an live action Monkey Island movie would be that good but an animated one would be great.

Kevin Convoy (AKA Batman in Animated series,Animated movies, and Batman games) as Lechuck would be good. He has a low voice which Lechuck would have.

Guys... I hope I dont mess up too much in this old topic, but saw people typing David Spade for Guybrush and I just had to say that this is the best pick ever.
