Found a fix for game not showing as installed

I'm not sure if this is still a problem, but when I bought episode 2, my game would play episode 2 on the first save slot but then when I did a replay on another save slot, it would not read the second, only said coming soon. I searched the forums and all over other sites and all I saw were people having the problem but really no help. So I played around a bit, then uninstalled both episode one and 2 and when I reinstalled I noticed this:

Episode 1 installed to a folder...C:\Program Files\The Walking Dead

Episode 2 installed to a folder...C:\games\The Walking Dead

I started the game to see if it mattered, it said episode 2 coming soon. So what I did was go to C:\games\The Walking Dead\Pack and I copied the folder WalkingDead102 to C:\Program Files\The Walking Dead\Pack

after that I started the game again and it said episode 2 installed and it works perfectly on all 3 of the save slots.

I've been doing some hard drive cleaning so not sure if I accidently set it to install to the wrong place or if it was just how the game is. But I suggest to anyone having problems getting the game to recognize episode 2, check where it installed and move it to the main Walking Dead folder. Fixed it for me and I am really happy Just hoping this works for some more of you if anyone is struggling with this.

I had a very similar experience on pc win7 64bit. Finally found my episode 2 files under users\me\my documents\telltale games\the walking dead\syncfs\data

I copied the contents of walkingdead102 and pasted them to the telltale games folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead\GameData\Pack\default

I can now play ep2!

Who would know that playing a game could be this exciting before you even play the game
