Are you running any kind of antivirus/firewall that could be blocking the outbound connection?

Ty for the suggestion, I tried this and it didn't work. Any other suggestions? How would I go about getting a refund for this game?

What kind of internet connection do you have? Your IP implies that it is a satellite connection, if i am not mistaken. I have a wild theory, that the high latency could let the game run into a timeout prematurely.

Is there any chance you can use a different internet connection for the activation?

If we don't get the game running, you can write to support@telltalegames.com and ask for a refund.
