Well on my first playthrough I messed up and I was meant to side with Kenny, but I ended up siding with Larry. I was thinking of rewinding my game, but is that really necessary? I saved Duck and was generally a nice guy for the entirety of the episode, but when I look at the stats, it says I sided with Larry. Will this have implications in the 2nd episode, or will the fact I was nice to kenny and his family be enough?

its weird because i did this on my first playthrough too but my ending was still if i sided with kenny, so im not sure but id think it carry on as if you sided with Kenny

All of these choices have implications, but none of them are as black and white as "I sided with Kenny so Kenny likes me" or "I sided with Larry so now Kenny hates me".

We don't use a Friendship meter or Like/Don't like toggle. We just allow our characters to retain information on the choices you have made and use those decision to influence how they might respond to future actions based on what the characters know. Hopefully this makes the story a more organic experience and less of a state management task.

okay thanks for the reply. I could imagine that this is an ambitious task, considering that you need to do this for all 5 episodes.

The end game stats confused me because it said I sided with Larry, when I was in his face yelling at him. But I found if you choose "reason with him" it will show you as siding with larry.

Similar to being truthful to Herchel stat at the end. In one play through I lied to him a lot but at the end it showed I was truthful to him. And another I was as honest as possible but it showed I lied to him. It came down to how I answered the question about finding clementine. When I answered "i was being attacked and she came to my help" it showed I was being truthful, but if I answered "I was looking for help in her house", which really isn't a lie, it showed I was lying.

it's been said before seems to be a stat bug...
