Default Games similar to walking dead?

Wondering if there are any. Not about zombies just a point and click style with lots choices and good story.

The closest game to this style is probably Heavy Rain for PlayStation 3.

Point'n'click there are quite a few around.

Games with choice and consequence are around too.

Games with both, however, are not many.

There's Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy in the US) that's similar in mechanics to the Walking Dead, but it kinda loses itself halfway through and ditches all your choices anyway before killing any semblance of story in bizarro world. And this is coming from a guy who loves it when stories go off on some weird ass path.

Heavy Rain, by the same guys who did Fahrenheit is supposed to play out like Fahrenheit and be all about the choice and consequence but I've never played it so can't say if it's any good.

Bioware games are always touted as having choice and consequence in them, but usually it just boils down to whether you want to do a self-righteous pussy playthrough or a selfcentred dick who kills kittens for fun playthrough, hell they should just give you the choice at the beginning of the game and then enter it in automatically in for you during the game (and this is coming from someone who loved Baldur's Gate and enjoyed ME1 and 2). Plus those are all RPGs and not point'n'clicks anyway so probably not what you're looking for.

The Witcher games, but again those are RPGs so again probably not what you're looking for.

I actually can't think of any, either I've not found them, my brain has turned to mush, or there aren't any. Sorry!

Heavy rain is indeed pretty good - if anyone wants to check out my review from 2010, you can do so here.

Most of them are just point'n'click games with very little actual choice in them (closer to the old style of point'n'click than TWD is too, more puzzle-focused). Jurassic Park I haven't tried so I don't know if it has any choice in it but from what I've heard it doesn't sound like it does.

Try visual novels. They might be up your alley.
