Try to find a download online. I'm pretty sure they're legal as long as you own a copy of what you download.

Lost it? xmm how could you? Anyway you have 4 options:
1) Find it... get yourself a nice detective outfit and a magnifying glass.
2) Copy the cd from a friend
3) Buy the game again
4) Download the iso from a warez site (It'ss illegal, but since you purchase the game is ok I guess)

Unauthorized downloading of a copyrighted file via filesharing is always illegal since you're also uploading.
Normal downloading may be illegal depending on protection (DMCA may apply), local laws and/or whether a judge sees you supporting this illegal distribution.

In summary: Don't go there.

LucasArts has a disc exchange service you can use, but since this is a pretty old game you're likely to find it for less in a local bargain bin.

That's one solution, but I see no reason to buy an overpriced version on ebay when you've already bought one copy. Personally, I've gotten into the habit of backing up my cds by creating an iso on my hard drive. That way I never have to worry about the actual cd once it's been copied.

I buy copies of most of my old games on Steam, often better compatibility and they are quite cheap on there. Especially when you buy discounted collections. CMI will be on there eventually!

I'm pretty sure that's ILLEGAL.

Contact LucasArts, they're usually very helpful to their customers.

Yeah, downloading things you'd normally have to pay for is always illegal, even if you already own a copy. Or so I've heard.

I'm pretty sure you can install it without the second disc. I reinstalled it recently, and I don't remember the game asking for the second disc until I completed part II.

It's illegal in the UK too! ¬_¬ and besides... these games are a lot easier to get hold of in the UK, just check ebay. They're not even at ridiculous prices!

That's a shame. The launcher has a feature that lets you rip the game files directly from the disc. If you still had it, you wouldn't need the disc.

Ahem... I know I always say that I like the first two games best. This is still true, but... I never said that I don't like CoMI. I was disturbed by the looks of Guybrush first (because he looked so different and unnaturally proportioned), but it's a great game. I love it and I would love to play it once more.

I have the same problem like britt: can't find my copy. On the other hand, I only owned the German version so I will have to buy the English version anyway.

Now how to get the English version in Germany for a reasonable price? I don't wanna pay 20 Euros or more just for the shipping.
Does anyone know if there's a place where you can LEGALLY download CoMI?

I'm not sure, I think it's a grey area... with ROMs and such they're considered a 'backup' of what you already own (or you are supposed to delete it within 24 hours) so isn't that the same with disc images?
