LOL, glad I'm not the only one who noticed that! I thought it was hilarious.

YES! I am not going crazy... I keep on saying to my friends: "don't you notice the finger snapping?"...
They do it all to much, it really annoys me, and the worst part is: I don't know why!
Maybe because it feels like a cheap trick, they do over and over again, to try and make the animations more life-like.
Lukily it is only used 3 times (i've noticed) in chapter 2.

I want to bring this back by saying I completely agree with the finger snapping. The animation is used waaaaaaaaay too much.

I mean come on, seriously, does anyone really finger snap that much from day to day? I haven't seen someone finger snap for probably months at work. Why do ToMI characters do it so much??

I think Murray was snapping too much, personally.

mmm and Jake said there would be less snapping in episode 3 after I commented on all the snapping in the trailer for it.... I don't think there was quite as much as episode 1, but there was still quite a lot!

Never noticed it myself & also didn't know what the hell you lot were on about until I found this thread.

In England there is no verb for it. It's just called 'clicking your fingers'

I do this a lot so I guess that's why I never noticed it. Doesn't everyone here "snap" on a daily basis?

I'm not even able to snap. I'm just not able to land my finger in the right spot! It always lands at the base of my thumb.

OK, this is one of my weirder posts.

By the way, there's no thread about the Voodoo Lady's er... "movements"?

I have been noticing it, several times per episode is too many. If a character does it once for emphasis every couple episodes, that's plenty. IIRC (which there's a good chance I'm just remembering wrong) this started with Sam & Max 203 where they first had Sam snap to end the backstory and go into the opening credits, and then did it too many more times for the rest of the season.

It never even occurred to me that the animation was in Sam & Max, I must have forgotten about it. In ToMI Ep1 they used it so much that I assumed it was a new animation that they wanted to show off.
