Default Adventure games that can work out as an animated series/movie

Im not sure if anyone on this board remembers the sam and max cartoon that was made during the 90's. I still love it , but it also made me think of this. Do you think there are any adventure games that can work out as an animated series or as an animated movie? My older brother says Leisure Suit Larry can work out as an animated show.

Monkey Island can definitely work out as a cartoon series.

There are plenty other that can definitely work out as well, like Police Quest: Daryl F. Gate Open Season, Legend of Kyrandia, Gabriel Knight: Beast Within, Toonstruck, Dracula series. Frankly there shouldn't be any shortage of candidates, since adventure games are grounded with good story-telling, which will definitely ease out the process of crossing over to the other media.

The problem is really how much hype will there be for these series?

Maniac Mansion would make a goo-

... Wait.

(Incidentally, is that show DVD-ized anywhere?)

It will make a good feature film! Think Scooby-doo.

I have this great idea of a movie, with stunning, high-definition, 3D landscapes, sophisticated score and musical effects and detailed animation and special effects. It's a live-action movie that will bring you to another world, in the distant past of 8021. It tells a story of three individuals, whose fates are interwoven by the loom of destiny.

In my opinion, this movie can only be named after the Guild of one of the main character.

The Weaver.

In five acts, it will tell about the creation of the Guild of Weavers and Bobbin, the travels of Bobbin to find his mother, the retaking of the Forge, and the final battle against Chaos. Finally, the epilogue.

Grim Fandango as a miniseries on MTV? (think The Maxx)
