Cool Film Noir Nick Bounty-esque Short film!

Hey all, I thought you guys might enjoy this short film I made in the style of a Nick Bounty esque film noir comedy.

Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DS5B86R0x4

Part 2:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4N5ggo-2gk0

It all started with a nun, a cat, and no girl scout cookies. Hilarity ensues in this comedy film noir, written by me. Johnny B Goode is also played by me. All music is royalty free and can be found here http://incompetech.com/m/c/royalty-free/... . All other actors are credited.

Special thanks to Mark Darin, as the whole concept was inspired by his tremendous work with Nick Bounty.

Thanks for taking your time to watch and I hope you enjoy.

That was great dude! I was really impressed with the writing in the voice overs - it was really authentic to the genre.

Not to mention you played the J.B.G. character really well. I tried to pull off a film noir in high school - it failed pretty hard though :P

Thanks man, yeah, I played through both the nick bounty games and watched The Maltese Falcon to try get the feel and mood right. The voiceovers are really what bring out the whole feel and mood of the genre and I was glad it worked out like I wanted it to.

Fantastic job! I was cracking up the whole time. Reminds me VERY much of the early Nick Bounty short films I did in High School.

Keep on bouncing, my friend!

If you still have it, would you post it online, please?

The only Nick Bounty short I've seen was Aerosol Nights, which I can't remember what site it was on. I'd love to see the others.

The others are withering away on decaying video tape that I am too afraid to put into a VCR. Perhaps one day I will get these transferred to digital, but for now, they will remain unseen. (And trust me, it's really for the best!)
