Everything seems to be working properly except that the mouse cursor moves very slowly across the screen, and is difficult to hold still in any one position to select something. It is just not responding normally to the movements I make with the mouse. This makes the game quite difficult and annoying to play. Any ideas?

This is usually a sign, that your graphics card is to weak. Try reducing the graphics level, and if that's not enough the resolution.

Thanks for that - I reduced the graphics resolution and it certainly helped. Not perfect, but heaps better, and definitely playable now. Much appreciated.
