Default Article about game porting featuring some Telltale comments

Yes, I hate myself for reading Slashdot too, but from time to time something good comes up. Like this article about ports to different platforms, stuffed with comments from different developers, specifically TTG talking about ToMI on Wii.

This article is why I could never make video games, that's all WAY too technical for me.

The article mainly talks about the limitations of the various systems (and yes, that also means the limitations of the PC platform). It's a rare glimpse for us users into the details of the restrictions that Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft impose onto developers.

Not really. But I still watch the headlines via RSS for gems like this one. 90% of /. news items are rubbish, misrepresented, uninformed or advertisement. Most comments as well.

I like the very last line from that article:
"Be open-minded – there's a whole new world of fun from all sorts of different games, even if they don't have exactly the same control system as the one you're accustomed to using."

Give the click-drag a chance! :-)
