Default Big bug in new Out From Boneville Version

Okay, I was playing the new version of Out From Boneville and I've found a huge bug.
When talking with the rat creatures for the first time (runaway puzzle), if you are caught while sneaking away, the game hangs! No menu hitting the ESC key, no action to be performed, no reaction from the rat creatures, Fone remains still. The cursor is still active but stuck on the feet icon.
I'm playing in 1024x768 with anti-aliasing.

Have you been able to reproduce it?

Try going down to 800x600 and turning anti-aliasing off. Does it still happen?

Are you able to access the menu? If yes, and you could send us a saved game, that'd be great.

Yeah, and he's got a small brother too!

Okay, sorry for that. I'm going to bed now.

The bug happens each and every time I play that part, with any resolution.
Here's my savegame.
The savegame begins just before the rat creatures part: after this moment it's impossibile to open the menu due to the bug.

There's another thing: when at the hot springs, Thorn notices Fone's map but she has NOTHING in her hands!!!! She looks like a mime!
