Hi, help me!! I am stuchk in the sword fight in the beginning of the game.. I believe I have tried everything.. What can I do to get rid of that sword fighting girl???

every time you talk to her you move around the boat. You need to get her in a position where you can eject her from the deck...

You mean under the bucket, right?? I did that, but cannot get the bucket to come down..

You have to be in the right position to get to the bucket. You are just not trying from the right spot. Talk to Le Flay and try again.

I know I have to drop the bucket on the plank to launch the woman.. But I just don't know how to do that.. sorry..

I realized that and editied my post. Try to get to the bucket again when you are in a different position. Not under it, but closer to the top

Did you cut the rope of the bucket and turn the boat? Or maybe make the bird fly to the fish?

The other guy keeps telling me to not mess with the bucket. And if I try anything else, Guybrush keeps saying he is a little too busy to try that and he needs another hand to do that..

Did you pick up the hook? Might be useful.

Edit: You rock the boat by kicking the wheel.

Just go the the position where you can click the bird...

I didn't try the bird thing AFTER I moved the bucket.. Thanks all!!!!

Cut the rope. And then use the wheel to move the boat.

i am loosing my mind... how do you cut the rope? how annoying it is to miss something which is probably very easy

With the sword? Use the hook on the rope at the wheel to get near the bucket.

Man, people sure need lots of help with a simple puzzle as this.
