I hope stan coat still has that cool effect it has on all other games

i reckon it will (if he is in the game) added humor to it. also the xbox stans coat does ^^

It will be very hard to do in 3D I guess, EMI's version was very ugly so an actual 3D but static texture would be a nice addition.

In secret of Monkey Island it was a programming error, or so I heard, but the gag was and still is awesome.

I don't think so. In 3DS Max, it's just a matter ticking a checkbox.

It might be harder in a game engine though?

Stan's coat is awesome, but I don't think we'll be seeing anything of stan until chapter 4.

I was pretty disappointed that the version of stan's coat that you can buy for your avatar on the 360 doesn't have that effect. Telltale knows better, I think.

Well with 360 avatars they're limited to making simple skins and models I imagine. Nothing advanced like Stan's amazing coat.

It's totally possible to pull of the effect in a game engine, though. You just gotta program support for it. Which is no problem when you have your own game. Which TTG does.
