W&G 2: Last Resort graphics issue

I just played through The Last Resort, downloaded from TT's website. I had an issue with some of the graphics not showing up. For example, when I'm outside the house, I can look right through to the inside. The "deductomatic" seems to be missing some parts, and the camera device in the living room doesn't have a visible camera. These are just a few examples. Episode 1, "Fright of the Bumblebees", played fine.

Your system doesn't actually meet the minimum requirements to run the game. Your drivers are also nearly two years old. Updating to the latest version available from the manufacturer might help, but I couldn't promise anything.

What requirements am I not meeting? I don't remember seeing any system requirements for the game. Also, what drivers do I need to update? I'm pretty sure I've updated in the last two years.

System requirements are posted on the game's page in the Telltale Store.

They are:

Operating system: Windows XP / Vista (Vista64 unsupported)
Processor: 2.0 GHz or better (3 GHz Pentium 4 or equivalent recommended)
Memory: 512MB (1GB recommended)
Video: 64MB DirectX 8.1-compliant video card (128MB recommended)
Sound: DirectX 8.1 sound device
DirectX®: Version 9.0c or better

I don't have much experience reading DxDiag information, so I'll leave that part to the professionals (like the mighty DjNDB), but it looks like your processor, for one, does not meet the minimum requirements (1.6 Ghz when the minimum required is 2.0 Ghz).

I don't know what exactly causes it, but it has been an issue before with the Radeon X1200 Series.
I fear there was no solution back then, and the graphics driver you have is the last one that was released for the legacy cards, so sadly i don't have any solution, except playing on a different computer (since you can't change the laptops graphics chip).

So am I going to have troubles with later episodes? The first episode played fine, though a bit slow on the graphics. I was able to play through the second, despite the problems I described. It doesn't seem like the games would have to be so resource-demanding.
I bought the whole series as a package, so am I going to be able to play them?

According to this post, something changed between episodes 1 and 2 raising the system requirements, which explains why episode 2 plays worse than the first one.
From reading other threads such as this one where similar problems were reported, it looks like Muzzled! has the same issues as The Last Resort, while The Bogey Man is fully playable.
