Final(?) battle
I'm stuck in battle with De Cava. I've realized that I can use the mast to temporarily disable his cannon, but can't do anything useful. I realized I should most likely be using the tongue to get a manatee to sink his ship, but can't walk the plank, since Guybrush can't leave Morgan. I don't know how to free Morgan.

Well, if you can't talk to the manatee, maybe you can find something else that manatees like in your inventory to convince one to help you with De Cava.

This is probably the most obtuse puzzle in the episode. I got it pretty quickly, but I didn't even have the consequence in mind, I was just putting random items in the cannon.

Ah, should've gotten that, but I was so hung up on trying to use the tongue, since it seemed like the game was leading me on in that direction

LOL I'm even worse, I thought I'd tried everything with everything except just clicking on the mast, apparently. Don't really like hints but I was like WTF this is the finale and I'm dead stuck. Ah well I did solve the other 98% on my own at least.

Woo! I had figured that out, but must have misclicked the first time, because it didn't work on the first go round.
Without the hint, I probably wouldn't have tried it again for quite some time. Thank you! |
