Default Guybrush Threepwood, you are hereby charged with... ?

What do you think Guybrush is going to trial FOR? This seems like a pretty as of yet untouched subject. Let's discuss.

I just thought of it now, but the judge on the homepage looks like he is poxed, so what if EVERYONE has the pox in this episode (or by the end of this episode) and Guybrush is being charged for NOT being a real pirate, and LeChuck is the only one who will defend him since LeChuck is the only one who is pox free!

Perhaps they want to keep the pox, and are charging him with attempting to cure them?

Alternately, they could be charging him for spreading the pox in the first place - or for stealing a ship, digging up treasure and starting a fight in the first episode.

Personally, I'm just wondering how Guybrush winds up on trial in the first place. I don't think Morgan would hand him to anyone other than de Singe.

well let's see:

° vandalizing in the Bar
° destroying several priceless glass unicorns
° theft of an important artifact (wind-key)
° having an unsafe rubber-tree as mast
° breaking some trademark-rights for creating a fake Dark Ninja Dave
° not returning a book from the merfolk-library after a month
° decapitating Santiago.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Piracy.

Or Mighty Piracy.

I'm sure it was either DNV or Lloyd's that allows rubbertree masts. Someone better check Narwhal's classification

Bigamy ^^
I wonder if there's time for Morgan and Guybrush to get married before they get to Flotsam?

decapitating Santiago.

Since when is cutting inanimate skeleton's heads illegal? (In the Pirate world)Even if you consider when Guybrush cut off Murray's new body, he's already dead, so why would anyone care?

The only thing I could consider trial worthy is the pox and that's LeChuck's fault cause he started it. But not everyone on Floatsam might view it that way though.

Is "Santiago" Santino's first or last name?

The pirates of Flotsam were stuck on the island for over a year because of the wind right? And the moment the winds got better, that son of a starfish Threepwood stole the only ship on the island!

I say that's reason enough for most people. And the pox doesn't help.

But didn't the people of Flotsam build the ship to somehow escape DeSinge and his nasty wind-sucking island? I thought it was some kind of ark.

Okay. He was a little skinny but he clearly spoke and had a (evil and demonic) soul when Guybrush killed him in front of 5 witnesses

Morgan would testify on his side saying that Santino was already dead. Killing the undead isn't against the law.

I'm sure if you ask any of these guys they would totally take Santino's side on this one...

Those are pretty cool, But I dont think we'll see to many undead on flotsam to testify against Guybrush. Maybe I am wrong though
