How does a disembodied hand fight and flip the bird at the same time?!
I would imagine his hand would be dead aswell. It should have been cured of the pox along with everything else, leaving it to be just a severed hand.

Ever since playing Chapter 2 where you hear the line about "Vacaylian science being used to reatach our tails when we went back to living in the sea", I pretty much thought that would be how Guybrush gets his hand back... not contributing to what you said or anything, I know. I just want to be able to go "Ah, see! I called it!" if it actually happens... I'm petty like that, yknow. I can admit it.

I still wonder whether he was evil all along, or whether he was really a good guy in episodes 2 and 3 and became evil again because the voodoo lady hexed him in prison.

Wow.

Just wow.

You guys added a whole new depth to the franchise. That is no mean feat. Morgan's "death" left me agape. I can't recall a single truly sad moment in an MI game, let alone a Telltale game. The silence in DeSinge's lab and the relative lack of humor in 'Brush's descriptions of the items really drove the point home. (No pun intended)

Add that to the death of Guybrush, which I didn't even see coming until the sword went through him on account of LeChuck's incredibly smooth change of tone, and the surprisingly violent death of DeSinge, and you've managed to reinvent the series without making it feel gratuitous or cheesy.

I know that I say "best episode yet" on every new release, but honestly, this is the single greatest thing Telltale has ever made. Well done.

This is by far the best episode. really amazing job.and because no1 else said it here: I really laughed my pants off when guybrush makes himself angry in court by saying his own name wrong haha. plus the fight between guybrush threepwood mighty pirate tm and guybrush threepwood mighty pirate tm at law in prison was also hillarious.

Normally I wouldn't quote someone with adding my own thoughts, but what the hell? ShaggE sums it up perfectly.

This.

Just one of the many questions that Telltale know the answer to and will only reveal in a month's time. Man, I cannot wait!

I haven't posted before today because I am usually the sort to wait for all chapters to be published before I start playing (by which point, half the fun of a forum is lost) but thanks to a dull weekend a week ago, I played the first three chapters and joined in with the nerve-wracking build up to the chapter 4 release.

And it's been a fantastic journey... The gameplay seems a little too fast but the puzzles are at least varied and strangely enough rewarding and although I can moan about how quickly it takes to play, I feel that it is more than made up for with exceptional story-telling.

The narrative is first-rate. I don't think I have ever felt this emotionally involved. Morgan in particular was heartbreaking in chapters 3 and 4. She's an amazing creation. Not that Winslow is not... and not that the Guybrushe-Elaine-LeChuck triangle wasn't good enough... but it really pushed the story from being a backdrop to a computer game to being a genuinely riveting adventure tale. It's epic... it's a feature film but better.

This chapter is the best yet without a doubt. I totally agree with ShaggE's summary.

Well.... d'you remember in MI2, where Guybrush just happens to come across a crate full of voodoo supplies addressed to LeChuck, right outside her house?

Is it just me or would someone else dump Elaine in a heart beat and take Morgan instead? Well only if they both are brought back to life though
She is much more cuter both in flesh and voice.....lol

Cuter in voice if you prefer whiny children to sexy British accents, I suppose.

I agree she have a little ehem high pitched voice, but males find that more attractive among females. http://scienceblogs.com/cognitivedai...re_most_at.php

I didn't mean to imply she was ACTUALLY a child, merely that she sounds like one. And, I reiterate, a whiny one.

Nothing against Nikki Rapp; I think the voice suits the character. But I'm still scratching my head as to why people think it's "cuter" than Elaine's.

If he really was just bluffing then it's quite a parallel to EfMI in a couple of ways thus far.
The pox of LeChuck coming from the massive weather device feels a little bit like the Ultimate Insult coming from that makeshift horn at Melee. The afflictions are different; One cripples pirates into gibbering wrecks, the other turns them into uber-nasty mode.
LeChuck comes to Melee on EfMI proclaiming free grog for all and what have you. Then he's the bad guy, having persuaded everybody he's a good guy. LeChuck is a good-guy in ToMI until it turns out at the last moment that he's really the bad guy (like last time).

Okay, stretching it a tad. But to quote a surfer-dude: 'partial originality is almost as bad as no originality.'
... Nah.
Great series thus far. The problem is that every time I get into the story I finish the episode and have a month to wait for the next installment!
