Weird hotspot (bug)
This is a little strange bug that I've found. Maybe you guys found it too. Outside the courthouse, where in chapter one we used to click on the "Useless yet fascinating broken boat" on the beach, there is a hotspot with no name. When you click on it, Guybrush goes towards Stan, yet nothing happens.
Funny, huh?

I noticed that too - I was hoping I'd found some kind of exciting secret smuggling hole or something.

Yeah, saw that one too! That was actually one of the first places I tried to go, but unfortunately a rock was blocking the Guybrush from accessing the jungle there.

I found that too. For some reason I seem to remember that happening in the first episode as well, but my memory could be wrong.
I wasn't sure if it was a bug or a "shortcut".

Also discovered this. Couldn't you go into the jungle from there in episode 1? Unless I'm imagining that, it's a shame that was removed as it saved just a bit of time.

Yeah, but in Episode 1, the Boat was vertical to the path, it's now been moved and is fully blocking the path in Episode 4, guess it's just a small thing to show Flotsam has changed slightly since we were last there.

They removed the shortcut to avoid you to go in the jungle before Guybrush's trial is over.

Yeah, I clicked on the hole in the boat and ended up standing between Stan's new store (*lol*) and Club 41, too. Pretty strange.

If you click on it 1000 times, you unlock Hardcore Monkey mode with more puzzles. No, really. Trust me...

Yeah I saw this. I was also annoyed you couldn't use the shortcut there, I liked there being 2 entrances to the jungle.
I was hoping for more MI3 boat references, but alas there was nothing. |
