Default Howdy.

So I just sorta stumbled onto this site after seeing on Apple's website that Bone was ported over...

Boy was I excited to see that Sam and Max have a new game (too bad it's not for the Mac yet...). I was equally excited to see all the posts from people about the old Lucas Arts games... I suppose this is an unofficial place for that kind of thing, eh?

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi.

So um, hi.

click to see the extent of my love for all things Lucas Arts & Steve Purcell

Wow... that tattoo is hard core.

Welcome to the site! Sorry we don't have a Mac version of Sam & Max for you yet, but it does run well on Boot Camp, if you have an Intel Mac.

thanks.. It's actually not even finished. It takes up my entire lower leg (from ankle up to just below my knee). The pic shows the outer part, as the inner leg is the art from Le Chuck's Revenge. It's not quite finished, so I have no pics yet.

They merge into one another and I made a few changes to synergize the 2 pieces (nothing major, mostly just the sky from the cover of MI).

I have been a huge adventure game fan since as long as I can remember (I'm 31 now). And MI has always been one of my favs. I wanted a tattoo that incorporated a few things and I think this did it perfectly:

1) Video games - I have playing way too much since I was a kid. So much so, that I work for a game developer now...
2) PIRATES - 'nuff said
3) monkeys - who doesn't love monkeys?
4) the Undead - I love horror films and always wanted a zombie tattoo - I think Le'Chuck is a great undead-ghost-zombie-pirate
5) Comic Books - Another thing I'm in love with and I really love Steve's art (I was very close to getting Sam and max tattooed too)
6) Originality - I mean what other maniac on the planet is crazy enough to get a Monkey Island tattoo, right

I'm glad to see someone charmed more by the "realistic" look of MI1 and 2, instead of the cartoon style of CMI
