Bill Tiller is more of an artist than he's a writer, I think that's a fact.
He realized himself, though, that his first game was lacking quality - no matter how many "Gold Awards" he received for A Vampyre Story being the best adventure game of 2008.
I'm optimistic that GPOVI will show a lot of improvement in many aspects as Bill has learned from his mistakes. It hurts me to see that marketing for GPOVI turns out to be just as poor as AVS's was then. It deserves better.
So, rip off or not: I plan on purchasing Ghost Pirates after I finished TOMI - so I'll have some more pirates and voodoo to spend time with and won't be all that downhearted after the end of EP5 (I'm really anxious that in a month from now, I will have solved the last puzzle of EP5 and all the fun is over. Think I'm gonna cry!
