Default New Song/Remix: "The Swordfight" from Episode 2. Morgan LeFlay Theme/tribute!

Hey Everyone. Mixed a new song . It's a mix of the song "Swordfight" from the opening fight from episode 2. I also made a U-tube Morgan tribute to the song. Hope you all like it!

Here is a link to the Mp3 if you want it :

The Swordfight

This is the Youtube video I made for it:

U-tube Video

Stay tuned for my next song which will be uploaded later this week. It's a mix of Rum Rogers Cottage.

It sounds like one of those touring video game-orchestras. Nice job.

EDIT: the ending sorta sounded like the opening of a fight against King DeDeDe in a Kirby game. Don't know how intentional that was (or if I'm just making weird connections).

You caught me! Just kidding.

I like Kirby music but the ending is a rendition of the Moby Dick theme song by Philip Sainton.

Moby Dick theme

At 1:22 is where the notes are from. It is one of the best Scores for a movie ever IMO and sadly Philip Sainton's only Movie score.

Dude, awesome!

Now I'm reminded of how badly I want the soundtrack for Tales. :(

Hah, thanks Mataku and Pecan. Here is another MI2 song. "The Cemetery". The Rum Rogers Cottage theme isn't ready yet. I'm also working on the Phatt Island waterfall.

Here is the original:

And the update:

The Cemetery

Hope you like it.

I hope we'll have better music on the DVD, but tbh I doubt it.

It was... fine. not your best work, imho. Especially when the guitar kicked in, seemed off.

This is actually the MIDI from Highland Productions with upgraded instrumets from me and a few small additions. I think I see what your talking about. Maybe I should just rewite the whole thing.

I was listening to the swordfight song while writing my essay, made me feel like I was at a clash with the deadline. Excellent work!

I've been loving these remixes for a while now. I admire how you make up your own stuff sometimes too! You wouldn't happen to have any plans of re-doing DeSinge's theme in CoMI-style, would you?

That's awesome Mickey, thank you.

Qwazin, I was seriously considering it but I also think the audio quality of DeSinge's theme is pretty good as it is compared to other songs in the series.

At the moment though, all my music is on hold due to my PC not being able to get past the darned BIOS.

Yeah alright, I'll have to agree on that. DeSinge's theme is pretty perfect as it is. Keep making those awesome remixes.
