Default Ideas for new Telltale Games

Hey, I just wrote a blog post on five franchises that I think Telltale should make into point-and-click-'em-up adventures (http://l0rddavid.wordpress.com/2009/...ale-treatment/), and wanted to get your opinions, know what franchises you'd like to see, et cetera. My ideas are (I explain the them in the blog... not room for all that here) VeggieTales, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Spy Fox, Pushing Daisies... and another that I'm not saying as an attempt to get you to read the article.

To be honest i'm on somewhat fussed on the Series of Unfortunate Events. As for your super secret last one that I shan't divulge, it would be a bit pants if you ask me, it already works in its own regard

But what do I know, I enjoyed the X-Files game back in the day

I WOULD love an Ace Attorney Telltale game, with more American-ish comedy and style, but that seems really, really, really, REALLY unlikely.

But it would be intense.

I really would LOVE a Mortadelo & Filemón Telltale game. I know they're not well known outside Europe, even outside Spain (except maybe Germany, I understand they have much success there), but I love those comic characters and they're much likely to be on adventure games (a Spanish company already did several 2D adventure games on them), and I think they will fit perfectly Telltale's sense of humour and episodic format

Hows about an original TellTale IP? There's enough talented people working there to give us something enjoyable and fresh

The Addams Family!
Seriously, it has the potential to become an episodic game.
for those who don't know about them, they are a wired family who have a Gothic life style, they wake the dead for hobby, the mother tells violent stories for children's bedtime and... .
They are abandoned from the society because of their nature, but they are really good people in heart, they don't mean doing these things they just do it to have fun!
Villeins in their stories are usually normal people who want to annoy them with the excuse of them being abnormal, but it turns out that the real bad guys are themselves!
Just think how many games TellTale staff could make from it!

as for a Series of Unfortunate events, I don't think an episodic adventure would be suite for it.
The story has already been told and we can't make a new variation for the characters, unlike Sam and Max, or HomestarRunner Characters.Unless lemony Snicket decides to tell a new adventure of them in a game format, which I think is very unlikely to happen.

I would like to see telltale do something like an M rated game, a halloween like game would be very interesting.

I'm going to keep pushing for Telltale to make a Nick Bounty game. Come on Telltale, what are you waiting for?

Hmm. Actually, there's some potential there. You could control Edmund himself and have Baldrick around to perform actions too dangerous or unsavoury for yourself.

I mean, we all know that this would never happen. But hypothetically speaking, which Blackadder do you think would work best? I'd nominate Blackadder II, personally, as it has the most historical scope and was the funniest of the series. Anyone else?

I'd go for the 4th series, but we'd all settle for anything but the 1st...maybe a 4 episode story arc over the different eras that ultimately reveals a great secret of the Blackadder family

Anyway Rowan Atkinson's a renowned prat and a big star so I doubt he'd get on board and I couldn't see anyone else doing the character much justice

I think the Oddworld Universe is a great setting for an adventure game.

I would buy any nostalgic series. If it's The Addams Family, The Twilight Zone or some 40s musical, just so long as it's in black and white, I'll buy it!
