Tatesville Launch Site! Wish Me Luck!

I'm making a site featuring Tatesville and another flash cartoon which I have not yet determined a name for.

The site may launch on fall 2010 if not later.

I'm currently working on the first cartoon of Tatesville. Not a corny animation test. It's taking a lot more longer than I expected, and I will also see if I can get some other 'toons done throughout the year.

Josh: Unusually nice day for a walk!

{Cuts to close-up of Josh walking}

Josh: It feels good to be away from anyone who has problems developing a relationship!

{Cuts to front view of Josh}

Josh: {Stops walking} Speaking of which, I wonder what Parkerina’s doing right now?

{Closer side view of Josh}

Josh: She’s probably at where she usually is several days before the national holiday Fall Blows. {Pauses} {Lowers head} I should stop talking to myself. Everybody says it’s bad for social conversing skills. {Raises head} But we all do it sometimes. It’s all for the sake of the clever conspiracy of breakage of the fourth wall. {Shivers as leaves blow by} {Mumbling; less than moderately audible} Did it get cold?

Good luck, mate! Is it a funny cartoon site or a serious cartoon site?

Tatesville is gonna be a drama-comedy, only a little bit more focused on comedy. It might be aimed at younger tweens and up, but I could be wrong.

And like I said, If I get Tatesville up and running, I just might launch another image-cutout-style action-comedy cartoon meant for a more mature audience. Possible names for the series could be Splode!, Manikins, GoodPeople, or Done Right.

I've decided I'm gonna have some change-ups of names in Tatesville, as well as the name its self.

I discovered that Tatesville is a real life town in Tennessee. Because of this, I'm going to have to change the name of the cartoon.

I've decided I'm gong to have to change it to Argusab Seal if not anything else. This name is a portmanteau of Greek words. "Agrós" meaning "Acres", "ab" meaning "of", and "Seele" meaning "Soul". I figured this was pretty cool, but I don't have much taste.

And I'm changing the name of the cartoon I'm working on to "Fall Breezes" or something like that, because I found out that "Fall Blows" has an inappropriate reference in it.

I also found out that Parkerina isn't a real name!

I'm sure the town name isn't trademarked, so theres no legal obligation to rename the animation.

Anyway, i wish you the best of luck. Any chance of an upload of that scene to youtube? You could caption it with subtitles there aswell if you wished.

Whew! I finally finished the second scene.

The visuals are starting to look far too unpolished for my taste, so I'll make all of my future animations High Def! (It'll kind of look like the picture of that tall, one-eyed palm tree-esque guy named Speves in my profile page.)

It looks really good! Smooth animation, pretty cute style, only thing that bothered me was the lil' guy blended into the grass a little to much but I'm just nit picking, I'll be keeping an eye on this!

No, I like when people scout out the flaws. It gives me ideas for future cartoons. Oh, and that little green guy is named Josh, and he's wearing a lily pad, and he uses it as a blanket as he sleeps.

{Parkerina, Lily, Swift, And Out-of-Touch are in the high floor of the Weather Examination Dome (WED)}

Parkeria: How’s everything up there?

{Swift is holding a mushroom-shaped device attached to a string poking out of a hole on the top of the WED}

Swift: I’m currently tracking seven MPH winds, rising every {Pauses to check quipu} four minutes.

Out-of-Touch: That’s not very legitimate.

Swift: And you’re in favor of math being illegitimate?

{Lily begins looking back and forth at Swift and OOT nervously}

Out-of-Touch: Realistic isn’t everything, you know-

Swift: {Cutting off OOT} Realism is the whole lot of everything, you know.

Out-of-Touch: That doesn’t make any sense! You said that-

{Parkerina realizes Lily becoming worried}

Swift: {Proceeds to talk while OOT is talking} I never said that from first person, so you know! I only said you think math is illegi-

Out-of-Touch: -math is illegitimate and now you’re saying that {stutters} realism is everything and-

Parkerina: {Cuts off the two} Quiet! There’s no sense having an argument over something as stupid as whether or not math is legitimate! Especially on a holiday!

{OOT and Swift look away and mumble to themselves}

{Zooms in on Parkerina}

Parkerina: Speaking of stupidity, I wonder what Josh is doing right now?

Lily: He did say he’d be five minutes late, depending on how long he’s been gone. {Pause} I know, right? I-eh-I told him it didn’t make sense, then he was like- ‘Maybe when you’re older you’ll understand.’ a-

Parkerina: {Sighs} {Shakes head while speaking} Classic Josh.
