Default All things Henson (From Muppets to Gelflings and more)

The muppets have been releasing short clips on YouTube for a while now, but they have just released the ultimate.

Namely this EPIC WIN (over 2 million views in a couple of days)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgbNymZ7vqY

More clips at their channel:

I'd love to see Henson & Telltale hook up in some capacity one day (I've mentioned before Dark Crystal episodes).

I saw this yesterday too. It made me smile, because it made me realize that good Muppet content can actually still be made!

That's because the muppets rock the universe!!

Yeah, I posted this around to all my friends the minute I saw this yesterday!!

It is pretty darn awesome!! Really brings back that classic muppets vibe.
They are doing what they do best, entertaining us through humour and song.

We are seriously due for a new big muppet adventure in movies or as a new tv show.
The charm is still there, that is for sure!!

I HAVE AND ALWAYS WILL LOVE DR. TEETH AND THE ELECTRIC MAYHEM!!
Still performed by the orginal voice actor, which makes it extra special to me.

Final word: Puppets Rule!!

Okay one more line, the amount of viewers this video is getting makes me hope for a better tomorrow!!

Okay maybe another one,
The muppets ending a song together in harmony always sends a chill down my spine, in a good way.
The kind of voices muppets produce mix together to create something special and it has always been something typical about the muppets for me ever since they did it in the rainbow connection reprise.

The Muppets can do no wrong.

I mean, really, when have they done wrong?

Yeah, they've changed owners several times since Henson's death. There have been some pretty poor Muppet related shows / movies overthe years, but they're partnered with Disney now, and they seem to have some focus and innovative ideas on what is the best thing to do with the franchise.

Here's forthcoming Muppet activity that was announced at D23 two months back;

http://themuppetmindset.blogspot.com...l-muppets.html

UPDATE: More Muppet YouTube videos to hit the web in 2010. Including Muppet versions of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody," Kansas' "Dust in the Wind," "Carve O'Matic," "Carol of the Bells," "Stand By Me," and more!

I heard that Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) is writing(?)/directing(?) a new muppet movie. And if you saw what he did with the Dracula puppets in that movie, you know it's in safe hands

Fixed. Watch where you put commas, they can change the entire meaning of a sentence (as an episode of Jonathan Creek proved).

Never saw any of the newer Muppet movies, but I did catch Muppet Treasure Island (which everyone else I know seems to think is rubbish) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Did anyone else here like that film?

Only saw Treasure Island without really paying much attention to it, but I did crack up when Long John Silver (Tim Curry) introduced his pet.... and it isn't a parrot

Ah, Tim Curry. One of the best things he's ever done, outside of Gabriel Knight.

I don't know if anyone cares, but they're in pre production for a Dark Crystal sequel.

People don't like Muppet Treasure Island? Really? It's my second favorite Muppet film, after of course the original Muppet Movie. Third favorite is probably Muppet Christmas Carol.

Considering the sad state of Muppet productions lately, I approach this information with careful trepidation. I want it to be good, but I'm worried it will end up as bad as all other Henson productions post-Henson.
